Since the early 00s, rap fans have watched Jay-Z and his Roc-A-Fella protégé, Kanye West’s, friendship grow from what seemed like a standard hip-hop collaboration to a highly respectable bond between brothers from another mother. Just look at the chemistry they display on their joint Watch The Throne album or the way they behaved like overjoyed brothers when Beyonce announced that she was pregnant with Jay-Z’s child at the VMAs.
