“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Cynthia Bailey has never been the type of reality star who chases drama, but the reserved veteran model unfortunately finds herself in spats with her more outspoken co-stars, like Kandi Burruss and former “RHOA” star Sheree Whitfield. But, the recent Rolling out cover girl recently opened up about her infamous feud with one of the series’ biggest drama queens, Kim Zolciak.
As fans know, Bailey and Zolciak famously butted heads over the infamous “black baby-gate” incident in South African, in which Bailey claimed that she couldn’t imagine Zolciak going to Africa and holding “black babies.”
Since their last squabble on the fourth season reunion special, many have wondered what is the status of their friendship — or rather their feud — is. But, Bailey recently explained to Complex that she and Zolciak aren’t really at odds anymore.
“Kim and I have never been BFFs, obviously. But the great part of that is she has been pregnant most of the time, so I didn’t have to see her that much,” Cynthia explained, laughing. “We really didn’t bump heads as much, because I didn’t see her. We actually got along because she was in her motherly way most of the time. And it is not fun when you argue with a pregnant lady. I have been down that road!”
And, as far as dealing with the other ladies on the show, Bailey says that this time around she’s not letting anyone walk all over her.
“I think this season you are going to see a more vocal, feisty Cynthia. I feel like I am at a place in my life where even though I am definitely caught up in a lot of drama this season, I really handle it a lot differently. I don’t have patience for a lot of things because I am busy working hard,” she said.
Bailey may be ready to rumble in the drama department, but she’s got a long way to go before she catches up with Zolciak. Check out some of Zolciak’s biggest beefs below. – nicholas robinson
