Romney Blasted by Critics for Ethics Violation
After being criticized by the United Auto Workers, the Service Employees International Union, People for the American Way and a host of other groups for ethics violations, Mitt Romney is being blasted again online, this time by disgruntled voters. As previously reported by rolling out scribe Terry Shropshire; “The groups are urging the U.S. Office of Government Ethics to investigate Romney’s alleged violation of the Ethics in Government Act, which requires presidential candidates to disclose their personal finances. The ethics complaint comes on the heels of a feature in the Nation which alleged that Romney has hidden his personal gains of at least $15.3 million from the auto bailout.”
Romney and his campaign have since declined comment on the matter.
Since news of Romney’s reported violations surfaced, Obama supporters have wasted no time hurling the former governor of Massachusetts under the proverbial bus. Included in that group was radio host Michael Baisden, who called for Romney to be jailed.
President Obama’s Republican opponent has since been called “stupid” and mocked for being a “great candidate.” Check out more responses to Money Mitt’s ethics violations below. –danielle canada
