Fallen and beloved Atlanta police officer Richard Halford tragically lost his life on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 in a helicopter crash. He was laid to rest on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012. His funeral was held at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church. Atlanta dignitaries, including Mayor Kasim Reed, members of the Atlanta City Council, Halford’s commander, his family including his ex-wive Vivian Halford and their only daughter, Gabrielle, and others were in attendance. –yvette caslin
