Academy Award winner Angela Bassett just landed a new tv gig. She will star and co-executive produce a new legal drama on NBC called, Vanishing Point. The new drama series has been described as a charactre driven legal franchise revolving around two ladies.
Bassett plays a very witty yet unsympathetic young lady who is a no nonsense kinda gal. Later her world comes crashing down when her health takes a turn for the worse. She makes it known of her health issues and tries really hard to work while facing her demons. She has a friend at the firm that stands by her side throughout her ordeal.
