Ne-Yo
For the Soul Train Awards, it would’ve been more appropriate for Ne-Yo to perform a, well, soul record. But, the genre-crossing star instead went with the pop song “Let Me Love You.” Despite having a platoon of dancers at his command, Ne-Yo’s performance seemed disconnected from the night’s message and, ultimately, a sea away from the night’s pool of great performances.
