Hip-hop’s most famous ode to contributing to “The Cause,” two smoked-out dudes from the Bay crafted one of the genre’s all-time great singles (and a banging remix, as well) and it gave stoners around the world a rallying cry. As soon as that bassline drops (sampled from Club Nouveau’s hit “Why You Treat Me So Bad”) everyone knows what time it is.
