A Hollywood favorite, actress Elise Neal has awed fans with her prowess to transcend stereotypes and play most any role. The Memphis native and beloved fiancée on TV shows “All of Us” and mother on “The Hughleys,” and in movies Rosewood and Love Ranch, she currently stars in “Belle’s” on TV One, playing the manager of a soul food restaurant owned by her demanding father. Neal has co-produced The Slap, which is a short film and is shopping her first screenplay, Timeless. Nominated for a SAG Award for playing Yevette in Hustle and Flow and seven NAACP Image Awards, the Hot in Hollywood Award and African American Women in Cinema Award winner is also launching her own hair line, Hollywood Belle, and dress line, The Demetria Collection. Neal was an honoree at the Mirror Mirror Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Rolling Stone Los Angeles Restaurant & Lounge.
