The L.A. Lakers hit a new low this season by losing to one of the worst teams in the NBA. On Dec. 11, the Lakers were defeated by the 5-17 Cleveland Cavs. It wouldn’t be so bad if the Lakers weren’t built to be this mammoth basketball machine. After all, they arguably have the most talented team in the NBA.
Although Steve Nash and Pau Gasol have struggled with injuries, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard and Meta World Peace should be enough to lead the team to victories on most nights.
But they’re not. At 9-13, the Lakers are scrapping the bottom with pathetic teams like Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns.
