Was he the first “Internet buzz” rapper? The Web experience was still fairly new back in 1997-1998, when the skilled lyricist emerged to seemingly-endless hype. Unfortunately that beef with LL Cool J and laughably bad debut album destroyed his career at Universal before it ever really got started.
