President Obama named 'Time' magazine's person of the year

Italian particle physicist Fabiola Gianotti came in fourth on Time’s list. She is in charge of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland, considered the “world’s biggest scientific experiment.” She is credited with helping discover the so-called ‘god particle’ which has been called the ‘greatest leap in physics.’
