You are such a great writer. What can fans look forward to hearing on this EP?
This new EP has a mixture of sounds. Mostly R&B and Soul with some pop elements. I tried to write and touch on several different subjects that I felt like people could relate to and also things that I was going through at the time. I touch on breaking up, missing someone, wanting them back and getting over an ex and feeling good about it!
What was it like working with these awesome producers and how did you team up with them?
The producers on this project are absolutely awesome! Happy Perez is a fellow Houstonian known for his works with Miguel and Frank Ocean. I worked with him some years ago on my first hit song “Give and Take” which was on the radio in Houston. He produced three of the six songs on this project. The talented Ant Bell and Ryan M Tedder stepped in and helped me complete the project with 2 great heartfelt records and I also worked with DJ Camper, who I met through writing for other people and loved his sound. He is responsible for “Trust & Believe” by Keyshia Cole and “Love & War” for Tamar Braxton.
Tell us about your Merry Christmas Give-A-way contest and what compelled you to give back to your fans?
I wanted to do something fun for the holidays where I could give back and also allow my fans to give me some feedback by performing their interpretation of my single “You” through singing, dancing or acting. The contest ends this Saturday the 22nd and the winner will be announced on the 23rd. Contestants will upload a video of their performance to YouTube with the title Coline Creuzot- You and add their name in parenthesis after. The winner gets a $150 giftcard to Nordstroms, $20 Gas Card, $20 iTunes Card, a hard copy of the EP, Signed poster and Team Coline T Shirt! They should also tag me on YouTube at CreuzotChic and tweet me the link to their video.
