Kenya and Cynthia Have a “Reading” Session
The group makes their way to the beach for a dinner on the shore and Kenya gifts Cynthia with an autographed book from Vanessa L. Williams, saying that the gift was inspired by Cynthia’s Miss America/U.S.A mix up. However, Cynthia doesn’t take Kenya’s gift kindly and she snaps on Kenya, prompting the two to go back and forth with snarky, sarcastic comments. Later on, the two walk the beach to hash out all of their issues, and though it looks like they may solve their issues, they end up arguing again as Kenya refuses to apologize for ruining Cynthia’s casting call. A friendship is out of the question, but they end up hugging it out and agreeing to respect each other.
