Jennifer Hudson and the Julian D. King Gift Foundation
Jennifer Hudson and her sister, Julia Hudson, create a magical Christmas for underprivileged children in Chicago through the Julian D. King Gift Foundation. The sisters and volunteers donate thousands of Christmas gifts to children in honor of 7-year-old Julian King who was brutally murdered along with the Hudson’s sisters’ mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, in 2008. Julia Hudson’s ex-husband, William Balfour, was convicted of the murders and sentenced in July to three life sentences.
