Trinidad James and Poems over Pistols
Trinidad James encourages youths to put down the gun and pick up the pen to explore the roots of their anger, and then to find creative way to express themselves. The Poems Over Pistols (P.O.P) Program teaches kids seven methods to turn their pain and anger into song, poem, or rap. POP methods include the POP Lock, Remote Control, Sponging, Baseline, Silent Chant, Creative Control, and Spray It.
