Terry Glover, managing editor of 'EBONY,' dies at 57

Terry Glover passes away

Reps for a historic black publication have confirmed news that the brand’s managing editor has passed away. Terry Glover, who had been working at EBONY magazine since 2006, succumbed to cancer on Dec. 24, 2012. Glover became EBONY’s managing editor in 2009.

“Terry touched many with her warm spirit and glowing smile during her six years with Johnson Publishing,” said Linda Johnson Rice, Chairman of the Johnson Publishing Company, about Glover’s passing. “Her contributions to EBONY were innumerable and her passion shone through in everything she did. Terry will be greatly missed.”

EBONY has since updated their Twitter account to honor Ms. Glover calling her death a “great loss.”

Glover was 57.
