Stupid behavior deserves criticism.
Interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs was ridiculous. Going HAM backstage at the 2007 VMAs because he wasn’t scheduled to open the show was ridiculous–as was storming out of the 2004 American Music Awards. Interrupting Justice & Simian’s speech at the 2006 MTV Europe VMAs was ridiculous. He does stupid stuff. People criticize him. Then the world moves on. He should man up and just ride out the backlashes.
