Lil Wayne vs. Gille Da Kid

This was more like a business partnership gone wrong. Before Lil Wayne became  a superstar in music, he was looking to reshape his career after the Hot Boys era. This was around 2004 and months before The Carter was released. Gillie Da Kid was also signed to Cash Money at the time and claimed he helped Lil Wayne write The Carter. He also claimed that he influenced Lil Wayne to change his rapping style. Some of this maybe true, but it’s hard to prove. Gillie Da Kid recorded a few diss records aimed at Lil Wayne, but no one paid attention.
