Phaedra and Kenya’s Business Deal Crumbles
Despite Kenya and Phaedra’s “Donkey Booty” business deal going smoothly last week, things sem to be falling apart this week. Though the full deal isn’t disclosed, Kenya offers Phaedra and Apollo a $100,000 production budget as well as a deal with a major distributor. Kenya also springs a 10 percent back-end fee on the profits of the video sales well into the process. However, when all three of them meet, Phaedra refuses to give Kenya 10 percent of the profits and claims that both her lawyer and Kandi’s boyfriend, Todd, say they can get the video done for cheaper. Apollo doesn’t think Kenya’s deal is unreasonable and seemingly doesn’t mind negotiating with her, but Phaedra is convinced it’s a deal breaker.
