Jermaine’s name got out there and he made many important contacts along the way. His big first success came he released the record “Totally Krossed Out” for the rap group Kris Kross. The duo’s singles, “Jump” and “It’s a Shame” allowed their album to go multiplatinum and made Jermaine Dupri a brand and nationally known commodity.
