Emotions ran high on and off the field during the NFC Championship matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers. After the Falcons 28-24 loss in Atlanta, two fans began arguing over the final outcome. According to reports, the 35 year-old Falcons fan punched the 49ers fan during the altercation outside the Georgia Dome. The 49ers fan then stabbed the Falcons fan in the throat.
The injured man was rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
