Chris Brown's home at the center of fake gun dispute; police call it a prank

The police were called to R&B singer Chris Brown‘s home in the Hollywood Hills on Jan. 21 after someone reportedly called 911. According to TMZ, the caller claimed to be involved in a domestic incident involving a gun, but it is now being reported as a prank. The caller said that a mother and father were fighting and the father went into aother room to grab a weapon.

The caller then hung up. They reportedly never mentioned that the home belonged to Chris Brown.

There was no one at the home when the police arrived and no evidence of an altercation or a gunman or any sort of dispute. Last week, someone reported a man with a gun at the home of Kris and Bruce Jenner. The LAPD believes that the prank caller in both incidents is the same person. Brown nor his reps have issued a statement regarding the incident.
