Movie 43 an ensemble comedy featuring the biggest A-Listers in Hollywood, bombed at the box office, earning a measly $5 million over the weekend (the film cost $6 million to produce).

This stinker that stars Halle Berry, Richard Gere among others, follows a desperate filmmaker (Dennis Quaid) who resorts to pulling a gun on a studio executive and forcing him to listen to his pitches.


Eleven directors were involved, each adding creative, comedic, flair to sketches within the movie, and boasted some of the biggest names in Hollywood, nevertheless, the film rated poorly with critics all around. Here’s what they said:
