Five days before the Super Bowl, Ray Lewis is facing scrutiny involving a report that accuses him of taking a banned substance. According to a report by Sports Illustrated, Lewis contacted S.W.A.T.S., a company owned by a former male stripper, for deer antler pills. The pills are performance enhancing drugs that helps players recover from injuries faster. It’s unlikely the NFL will be able to punish Lewis before the Super Bowl. He will retire after the game.
Lewis has yet to comment on the allegations, but Twitter users expressed their thoughts.
