Kareem Abdul Jabbar is a pillar of greatness on the court (6-time NBA MVP, 5-time NBA champion, all-time scoring leader), and off the court (fighting for civil rights in the 60s alongside Muhammad Ali and James Brown). But he is also a famously moody, dour man who never learned to open himself to the media, his fans or sports lovers in general. And this occasion was no different. He mostly looked at the red carpet media like they were rodents, and was turning away from questioners as he was finishing his answers. And he wonders why Magic Johnson is more beloved. Shame on him.
