Chamillionaire and Will Downing: Tuesday new music rundown

After an interesting slate of albums last week, this week’s new releases are even more all-over-the-place, and if there is any sort of theme, it has to be “indie.”

LL Cool J’s comeback project, Authentic, was pushed back to May and 50 Cent announced weeks ago that his album Street King Immortal won’t be hitting shelves until the spring, either.

From veteran hip-hop stars dropping independent releases, to quirky alt-rockers making their album debuts, this is one of those week’s for the fans of more eclectic, left-of-center music — in every genre.

Oh, and Bryan Ferry’s acclaimed-yet-certifiably-strange set of jazz covers finally gets released in the U.S.

So, get ready to impress your music snob friends — here’s this week’s Tuesday New Music Rundown….
