Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon‘s Ojai, Calif., ranch was originally built in 1923. When she purchased the home in 2008 for $5.8 million, she decided to keep the original hardware, turrets, wrought-iron railings, original stonework, original plank floors, arched windows, alcoves and colorful Spanish tiles. The two-story main house features beamed ceilings, an oversize fireplace in the two-story living room, a library loft with a fireplace, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Three guest cottages, a carriage house, a swimming pool, a barn, stables, pasture land and mature oaks complete the 7 acres of grounds. It’s not the only property Witherspoon owns. She also owns homes in Los Angeles and Tennessee.
