Dr. Sampson Davis reveals the agony of seeing young blacks die in the ER

“People ask me the solution and I compare it to how we heal a patient. When I see a patient who has an abscess (a swollen area with pus),  I open the abscess, drain the blood and pus. I don’t close the abscess, I allow it to heal from inside out. We must do the same thing with our community. We have to reach our young men and women and show them a better way from the inside.”
