Cities whose residents have damaged hair
According to the hair experts at Head & Shoulders, women nationwide are damaging their hair by using curling irons, flat irons and tight fitting elastic bands. The company recently conducted a study to see which cities are filled with women who constantly put unnecessary stress on their tresses.
In Atlanta, the survey found that 51 percent of women consider their hair to be damaged, 46 percent color their hair regularly, and the majority shampoo their hair over seven times a week. Additionally, the study found that women were further causing breakage by brushing their hair when wet, putting their hair into ponytails and excessively scratching their scalp.
Like Atlanta, several U.S. cities are filled with women who put major strain on their hair. Check Head & Shoulders’ list of the most damaged hair cities in America. -danielle canada
