Talk about smart. Much like his idol, Magic Johnson, few could have envisioned Mashburn’s post playing career materializing like this. The guy is a walking business conglomerate. After making over $75 million throughout his career, Mashburn has parlayed his NBA success into success in the restaurant world. He’s also the owner of 34 Outback Steakhouses, 37 Papa John Pizza Stores, and also an owner of franchises of Dunkin’ Donuts and car dealerships in Kentucky.
I’m beginning to wonder when Mashburn is going to do something with his life.
