Miles Davis on trumpet. Sam Jones on bass. Hank Jones on piano. Art Blakey on drums. And at the center of it all–Cannonball Adderley’s saxophone. That lineup alone is enough to make this worth listening, it helps that the album is as inspired as anything ever released.
