It seemed like all the world turned its attention to South Africa this weekend, when a young gay couple, Tshepo Modisane and Thoba Sithole, tied the knot in the small town of KwaDukuza (Stanger), making them the first gay couple to do so in the town. With South Africa makeing strides in progress when it comes to marriage equality, it’s certainly time to take a look at which other nations are at the forefront of progress as well.
