A panhandler in Long Beach, Calif. couldn’t handle the rejection when a man refused to give him money. So he retaliated and torched the 63-year-old’s SUV, with him in it. Running his errands and minding his business, the victim stopped at 7-Eleven on Friday, April 12, 2013. The 37-year-old panhandler asked for money and the victim told him “no” and proceeded into the store. When the victim returned to his Toyota 4-Runner, he was doused  by the panhandler with a flammable liquid and next thing you know he was in flames. The victim suffered third-degree burns and is in critical condition at a local hospital. The perpetrator has been arrested and will face arson and attempted murder charges.
