Black hair bible: The truth about your hair, part 1

me:hair
(l-r) My own hair is very dry and brittle. When picked out fully is a light afro. To moisture and get quality curls, I swear by Hask Placenta and Matrix Biolage leave-in conditioners.

I have sworn by these two products for years. One is Hask Placenta leave-in conditioner. Wash your hair, apply generously and leave in.

HASK-SPRAY-2TIt is inexpensive and it works ! It costs less than $5 at any CVS, or most grocery stores with a black hair care section. The pro: amazement. Apply, let hair air dry all day. The con: It comes in very small amounts. Once you find out how well it works, you will run through it. Apply styling product or heavier leave in if needed over it. ( I leave in condition in two steps, with two products)

Also:

1911-8-0-ozDaily leave-in conditioner by Matrix Biolage is a bit pricy, starting at maybe $18 a bottle. And, it’s completely worth it – Even for ethnic hair. Great on keeping Poetic Justice Braids moisturized throughout the day. Apply a light mist several times a day and go.

Available at better salons and CVS.
