Moisture Hair Smoothie. 

Combine one avocado and one banana. Mush down lumpy parts.


Add light olive oil (the less fragrant, the better) until consistency is smooth.

Dump mixture into blender. Blend until smooth, not whipped.


Put mixture in the microwave and heat for 30 seconds.

Let cool; feel temperature before applying to head.

Apply to clean hair after shampooing.

Wrap head with saran wrap. Place shower cap over plastic covered head. This allows the moisture start to work into your hair.

Avocados, olive oil and bananas are natural moisturizers and are the healthiest way to rebuild damaged hair or just to deep condition. I recommend this procedure once a month.

The best advice is to apply this recipe before you jump into a nice hot shower. Let the moisture buildup and heat in the bathroom act as a mini in home sauna.
