Steve Nash will likely have more time to deal with personal issues once the L.A. Lakers are eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the San Antonio Spurs. Nash is currently in a brutal battle over child support with his ex-wife Alejandra Nash.

According to reports, Alejandra is asking a divorce judge to force Nash into paying child support for the three children they have together. However, Nash believes his ex-wife is being greedy and spiteful. After their divorce, Nash gave Alejandra a $5 million settlement and gives her $30,000 per month. Nash also says he pays for the kids’ medical expenses, private schools, extracurricular activities and pays most of their nanny’s $2,000 per month salary.

Moreover, Alejandra, who stays in Arizona, wants to move the family to Los Angeles. Steve objects the move because he will likely have to pay more money in child support due to laws in California. He believes Alejandra will use most of the money to pay for her own lavish lifestyle.

Share your thoughts. Should Steve Nash be forced to pay more money in child support, or is his ex-wife simply a gold digger?
