Rolling out and Smirnoff held the first “Salute to Atlanta’s Dopest DJs” at Sugar Hill in Buckhead Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Gift bags were sponsored by Akoo Clothing.
The DJs in the spin-off went head-to-head in a furious showdown. There were two DJs on stage at a time. Each DJ had 10 minutes to rock the crowd. Once each DJ completed their set, the crowd was asked who they thought the winner was. Then the judges held up the DJ Spinoff signs to say who the winner of each set was. It was narrowed down to three DJs: DJ Jaycee, DJ Pnut and DJ Silver Knight. The judges chose DJ Jaycee as the winner, hands down. –eric black
