RuPaul lands his own talk show
In 1997, RuPaul decided to take on the world of TV and launched his own talk show on Vh1, “The RuPaul Show.” The series featured guest appearances from the likes of The Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Diana Ross and Nirvana. However, the show ended after just one season.
