Atlanta Police Officer Kim Jones said in a statement that Winslow’s gray Honda Accord was pulled over near the intersection of Oglethorpe Avenue and Peeples Street SW at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday after an officer saw the driver commit multiple traffic violations.
Winslow, who officers said showed signs of impairment, told officers she’d had a few drinks. She refused to take a field sobriety test.
Officers arrested Winslow, charging her with driving on the wrong side of the road, DUI, failure to stop for stop sign, reckless driving and a red light violation.
Her car was taken from the scene by a friend with Winslow’s permission. Officers took Winslow to City of Atlanta Pre-Trial Detention.
