The Memorial Day Dress Guide
Memorial Day weekend is your open pass to wear white. But if you are bored with the usual white shirt and blue jeans option, here are other options:
- Try cutoffs in a bright shade preferably in a patriotic color. Cutoffs also look good in neon’s when paired with a neutral shirt. Wear a short-sleeved, oversized dress shirt, tied at the waist. Complete the look with flat sandals.
- For a girly girl look, a pretty patterned dress is your best bet. Summer dresses don’t necessarily have to be floral; screen prints are in these days, you can try those or simple stripes can also do the trick. These summer dresses are also good for throwing in the bag in case you want something to wear over your bikini. Add an army jacket or oversized chambray shirt to the ensemble for cold nights.
- If pants and shirts are your thing, try them on in pastel hues, leaving the traditional blue and white behind. An aqua top paired with pink pants and a cropped light denim jacket looks great for day time outings.
