Any diva worth her weight in music gold has a strong gay fan base to call her own, and the best of them know it’s imperative that they show up and show out to support and entertain their gay fans. Ciara and Eve are doing just that by headlining two of California’s biggest gay pride weekends this summer.
According to the Huffington Post, Ciara is the headline performer at this year’s three-day L.A. PRIDE celebration, which takes place June 7 to 9. The “Body Party” will hit the stage on Saturday and hip-hop group Chiddy Bang will serve as her opening act.
And while L.A. will be getting a heavy dose of Pop&B from Ciara, San Francisco will be getting a hard-core injection of hip-hop from rapper Eve, who will headline the 2013 San Francisco Pride’s ‘Saturday Signature Party’ event on Saturday, June 29.
