The amalgam troupe (hop-hop, jazz, contemporary) consistently raises the bar with every new project, which is why we’re loving the prospect of this new ’80s time-travel mash-up of “hot jazz, romance and smoldering street violence.” Crash continues its standard summer tradition of producing full-fledged story-dances, transforming the Victory Gardens stage into an old school speakeasy to get the mood just right.
