Accidental?
The title alone raises the question, “Can someone really have an accidental affair?” How is that even possible? I believe when one decides to have an affair it’s not an accident, but a choice. Even if you live to regret the decision that was made, it was still a position that you choose to put yourself in. I believe there is always a little “whisper or aha” moment that happens to us all before making life decisions. Whether you choose to listen to the inner voice or not, it’s still there. In this novel, an “accident affair” causes strings of turmoil. The seemingly perfect life that this well respected couple had has now erupted in scandal, blackmail, revenge and murder.
Page-Turner
One bad decision created an enormous amount of pain within their home, and demonized behavior began with everyone in their Hollywood circle as well. How can someone forgive and move past such an unforgivable “accident.” It definitely had me glued to each page wondering what the outcome would be. Can this husband truly forgive his wife for putting herself in such a compromising situation? How far would you go to fight for a marriage torn apart by deceit? You’ll have to read the book and judge for yourself.
Wow Moments
Hot, hot and hotter erotic sex scenes are in the book. It’s always fascinating when an author can create a character and you find yourself wishing you were in the scene. Dickey played up the characters in this novel and made the chapters extremely visible in your mind. I love it when an author can stimulate the readers mind, body and soul. Kudos to Dickey on a great book!
