Former South African President Nelson Mandela, whose turning 95 on July 18, 2013, has been hospitalized and his condition is reported by current President Jacob Zuma’s office as “serious but stable.” His wife, Graca Machel, 67, recently canceled a trip to the U.K. for the London Hunger Sunmit and his daughters Ndileka Mandela and Makaziwe Mandela were spotted leaving the Mediclinic Heart Hospital on Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.

This past April, Mandela suffered with pneumonia.
