On Friday, June 21, 2013, Houston’s pop and R&B sensation Elle Gie will share the stage with Slim Thug, Paul Wall and a growing list of other nationally known artists at the Springboard south music fest. “I’m excited to share my new look and sound this summer,” says Elle Gie. “I feel blessed to have the support of such fabulous fans! I will launch my website on the night of my performance and will debut my new look and my new music on the site too. I can’t wait for the big unveil and I know that my fans are very anxious.”
The annual Springboard Fest and conference is designed to help independent musicians get to the next level with the help of famous artists, music professionals and industry leaders. The three day festival will take place at Warehouse Live on 813 Saint Emanuel Street in Houston, Texas and will feature: soul, hip hop, r&b and rap artists on Friday night; followed by rock, country, pop, and metal artists on Saturday. Sunday night’s concert will close out the festival with a gospel, jazz and blues concert. Each artist is allowed one warm-up set for a headliner followed by a 40 minute club set. The artist will then receive a 30 minute one on one consultation with industry experts to help them build their knowledge of the music business and learn how to market their brand.
When asked how she describes her music Elle simply replies, “I can’t be cornered into one genre! My music covers an entertaining spectrum of edgy, soulful, and high energy sounds. You have to hear it to understand it but once you hear it, you will love it”.
