Jennifer Lopez, 43, is making her rounds. When the Latina bombshell showed up at the fourth annual amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York and jaws dropped. She was wearing Tom Ford’s sapphire gown from his spring 2011 collection.
The American Foundation for Aids Research brought together celebrities from music, fashion and film on Thursday, June 13, 2013, for the international gala. They’ve raised nearly $10 million for AIDS research since its inception. André Leon Talley presented Jennifer Lopez with the Humanitarian Award. Lopez donned the metallic blue dress featuring a high neck, long sleeves, black mesh floral cutouts and intricately woven sequins, complemented by a black box clutch bag, diamond rings by Harry Winston, open-toed shoes, a smooth ponytail and minimal makeup.
She isn’t the first one to rock this gown. British models Lily Cole and Liberty Ross have too.
Cole, 25, was the first to wear it when she attended the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London in 2011.
In May 2012, Ross, 34, wore the clingy dress with nude panelling to the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere in London.
Who do you believe rocked it best?
