An obvious one, President Bush is not a Kanye West fan in the slightest so there’s no hope on him congratulating the new dad.
In a 2010 interview with Matt Lauer, Bush blasted Kanye for making that infamous “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” statement during a Hurricane Katrina telethon.
“He called me a racist and I didn’t appreciate it then,” said Bush.
“I don’t appreciate it now. It’s one thing to say, ‘I don’t appreciate the way he’s handled his business.’ It’s another thing to say, ‘This man’s a racist.’ I resent it, it’s not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency.”
