For 37 years Lincoln Center has hosted the American Crafts Festival, an event that showcases the works of hundreds of craftsmen and women throughout the United States. Part of what makes the festival a unique experience is the selection process. With ordinary festivals vendors pay a fee to sell their services or products. Participants in the American Crafts Festival must submit their works and then are judged by a panel which decides who receives a place in the two-day event.
