The city erupted in celebratory parties as King James became one of the only players in NBA history to win back-to-back MVP awards while winning back-to-back NBA Titles. Some man by the name of Michael Jordan was the other one to accomplish such a mind-blowing feat. In addition to securing James’ and Wade’s as being among the greatest to ever play the game, the Heat also avoided the almost certain implosion that would have happened had the Big Three lost a second NBA title in three years.
