Atlanta’s weather causing cancellations and postponement of Fourth of July events

Before you head out to your favorite Fourth of July festivities you may want to check one of Atlanta’s local news Websites to make sure the event is still taking place. With Atlanta’s weather expected to have 100 percent of chance of rain on July 3 and July 4, many cities are pushing their parades, festivals and fireworks as far back as September. Meteorologist for the station are urging  everyone to check the site for any and all changes to July Fourth events. The forecast is predicting up to 4 inches of rain, however, there is one event that will not be canceled or postponed — The AJC Peachtree Road Race. The AJC Peachtree Road Race will go on rain or shine beginning gt 6:45 a.m., July 4.
